About Kendra – your guide for breath, balance & joy
With over eight years of teaching yoga and hosting retreats and events, Kendra brings a deeply grounded, holistic approach to guiding seekers on the mat. As the founder of Yoga with Kendra – and known to many as @yoga_withkendra – she weaves together movement, nourishment, and meaningful connection to support a yogic lifestyle.
Kendra is a RYT 500-hour & E-RYT 200-hour trained teacher, with certification across multiple yoga styles including Vinyasa, Yin & Restorative – as well as expertise in breathwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra.
Her journey has been shaped by time spent in India – the birthplace of Yoga – where deep immersion in traditional yogic wisdom informed her path. From those roots she draws teachings that she lovingly adapts for modern western lives: accessible, balanced, nourishing.
Her retreats are more than just yoga classes: they are invitations to embrace a balanced lifestyle – blending mindful movement, wholesome nutrition, and soulful connection. Whether through flowing Vinyasa sequences, slow Yin, restorative sessions or restorative meditation and breathwork, her classes aim to rebuild strength, restore calm, and reconnect body and mind.
Off the mat, Kendra’s passions extend to high-quality food and the outdoors. When she’s not guiding others, you’ll often find her wandering mountain trails, seeking fresh air, grounding, and inspiration – a reminder that yoga isn’t only a practice, but a way of life.
Through her retreats and classes, she offers more than flexibility or fitness: she offers a path to contentment, joy and balanced in everyday modern life – empowering students to integrate yoga as a living practice, no matter where they are on their journey.
